Poland - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church officiated by the Rev. Monsignor. William Connell for Cynthia A. Christopher who died Thursday afternoon at the Cleveland Clinic with her husband Glenn by her side.
Cynthia was born January 11, 1969 in Buffalo, NY , a daughter of Richard and Mary Agnes Yore Turkiewicz.
She was a 1987 graduate of Ursuline High School and graduated from Y.S.U. Summa Cum Laude, later earning her credentials as a C.P.A.
Cynthia was the Director of Corporate Finance for First National Bank.
She was a member of Holy Family Church where she served on the Finance Committee and was very active with the Holy Family School. She also served on the board for St. Joseph The Provider School in Youngstown.
Cynthia leaves her husband Glenn W. Christopher whom she married July 9, 1994; her parents Richard and Mary Agnes Turkiewicz of Winter Springs, FL; her three children Sheila M. Christopher, Allison S. Christopher and Glenn W. Christopher IV; her sister Suzanne (Jim) Elkins of Batesville, Indiana; her brother Michael Turkiewicz of Portland, Oregon; and her in-laws Kathleen and Dr. Nicholas Wolsonovich.
Memorial contributions maybe made to St. Joseph the Provider School 1125 Turin St. Youngstown,
Ohio 44510 or to the Beatitude House 238 Tod Lane Youngstown, OH 44504 in memory of Cynthia.
It was Cynthia's wish that no public calling hours be held for her.
Professional arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Poland Chapel.
