Daniel J. Craig, 67
POLAND There will be services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the
Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel and at 11 a.m. at the Holy
Family Church for Daniel J. Craig, 67, who died Wednesday afternoon at St.
Elizabeth Health Center from injuries sustained in an auto accident Tuesday
evening in Struthers.
Daniel was born Nov. 21, 1940 in Youngstown, the son of Harold T. and Susan
Hernan.
He was a 1958 graduate of South High School and later served in the U.S.
Marine Corps. He worked as a journeyman electrician for the I.B.E.W. Local
No. 64, primarily at Prout Heating and Cooling. He retired in 2002 after
more than 40 years of service. He was a member of the Holy Family Church and
the Struthers V.F.W. Post.
Daniel is survived by his wife, the former Diana Cavalier, whom he married
Feb. 4, 1967; two daughters, Colleen M. Craig of Boardman, and Holly Brian
Welsh of Youngstown; two sons, Daniel H. Raquel Craig of Boardman and Tony
Val Craig of Raleigh, N.C.; two sisters, Elaine Al Beynon of Texas and
Linda Richard Riley of Austintown; a brother, Thomas H. Michelle Craig
of Canfield; four grandchildren, Gianna and Zachary Craig, C.J. Craig, and
Brynna Welsh.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
