Daunita Dingey

POLAND - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at noon at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Daunita E. Dingey, 79, who passed away Sunday at Hospice House.

Daunita was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Lowellville, a daughter of the late A.R. "Tippy" and Helen (Hundorfean) Coppola.

Daunita graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a workers compensation attorney for Ray Tisone. In her earlier years she did a lot of traveling all over the United States. She had jobs with the IRS and at the Pentagon.

Daunita also loved to visit casinos. Her greatest love was for her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Daunita leaves her two daughters, Elaine (John) Ginnetti of Struthers and Lynn Dingey of Youngstown; two sons, Richard (Debbie) Dingey of Cedar Lake, Ind., and Ronald Dingey of Anderson, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, Cheryl (Jason Catone) Ginnetti, Gina Ginnetti, Sheila (Michael) Runyon, Stefanie Dingey (Joshua Swindell), Rachel Dingey, Danielle (Rob Bodnar) Ginnetti, Shawna Dingey, Christian Dingey, Brianna Dingey, and Cody Rivera; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Steven Senich, with whom she made her home in Austintown.

Family friends may pay their respects Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.

Daunita's family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and everyone at Briarfield at Ashley Circle and Hospice House for all of their care.
