David Lapresta

YOUNGSTOWN-Services will be Monday at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, and at 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church for David G. LaPresta age 35 of Fernwood Ave. Youngstown who passed away suddenly early Friday morning at his home. David was born October 27, 1968, in Youngstown the son of George D. and Betty Ann Cifra LaPresta. David worked as a security guard at the Phar-Mor corporate offices in Youngstown for over five years, and had also served as an auxiliary police officer for the Coitsville Twp. Police Department. He was a 1987 graduate of Chaney High School, a graduate of the Ohio Police Officers School, a member of the church, and a proud member of the N.R.A.
He is survived by his parents George D. and Betty Ann Cifra LaPresta with whom he made his home, his girlfriend Heather Liptak of Coitsville, a sister Lisa M. LaPresta of Youngstown, a brother Kevin Carly LaPresta, and two nieces Angelia and Alyssa LaPresta of Akron. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Mary Cifra, and Andrew and Betty LaPresta. Friends may call from 4 to 6 PM Sunday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
