Deanna Hosey

AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Deanna M. Hosey, 53, who died Tuesday afternoon at Hospice House surrounded by her family.

Deanna was born March 20, 1962, in Anchorage, Alaska, the daughter of William English and Dolores (Hinrichs) Downing.

She was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and spent her junior year as an exchange student studying in Japan.

Deanna worked as a florist for 15 years and owned Something Unique Florist for the past eight years.

Deanna was proud to be from Austintown and was very involved in the community. She was a member of Austintown Junior Women's Club, Austintown Rotary, Diva Donations, the Second Harvest Food Bank, and the 9/11 Memorial.

She is survived by her parents, Dolores Downing of Boardman and William and Linda English of Austintown; a daughter Jessica L. (Jason) Munger of Austintown; two sons, Joe T. (Fiance Teresa Griffith) Hosey of Canfield and Jason J. Hosey of Austintown; two sisters, Jody English of Boardman and Heather English of Austintown; her former husband John M. Hosey; and her cat, Isabella.

Deanna was preceded in death by her son John W. Hosey.

Family and friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 PM and Friday from noon to 1 PM at the funeral l home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the "Petals of Love" fund established at any Farmers National Bank.
