POLAND - Deborah "Debbie" K. Gentile, 69, died unexpectedly at her home early Saturday morning.
She was born May 1, 1948, in East Liverpool, the daughter of Dr. Ronald Jay and Norma Kinsey.

She was a 1966 graduate of East Liverpool and later graduated from The Ohio State University in 1969. Debbie returned to the Youngstown area in 1975.

Debbie was very proud of her family dental tradition and was a dental hygienist for many years.

She attended the Old North Church in Canfield, was a member of The Lake Club, enjoyed dancing, loved flowers and was a proud lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Debbie is survived by her mother, Norma J. Nicolette of Boardman; a daughter, Kimberly and her husband, Bradley Adelman, of Uniontown; a son, N. Jay Gentile of Poland; the sister, Jayne Daprile of Canfield; two brothers, Ron J. Kinsey of Reno, Nev., and Robert M. (Jodi) Kinsey of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three sisters, Nancy Weibling of Canfield, Becky Wanick of Indianapolis and Susie Nicolette of San Diego; two grandchildren, Kahner and Kinsey Adelman; a goddaughter, Lindsay "Scoob" Allanson of Mars, Pa.; and her former husband, Dr. James Gentile, D.D.S. of Poland.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kylie Nicole Adelman. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m., today, and for one hour prior to a prayer service at 5 p.m. on Friday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, officiated by Monsignor William Connell.
