YOUNGSTOWN - Deborah G. Gruber, 66, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Deborah was born Nov. 4, 1949, in Youngstown, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Piper) Gruber Sr.
She was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and worked as a bookkeeper for Pollick Co. from 1972 to 1983. She later worked for Holiday Inn in Boardman, from where she retired.
Deborah is survived by two sisters, Linda Sugden of Tucson, Ariz. and Elizabeth Seck of Boardman; several nieces and nephews; and her very dear friends, Betty Snyder and Jean Yeager.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Robert Gruber Jr.
Per Deborah's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
Because of Deborah's love for animals, the family has requested material tributes take the form of donations to Animal Charity, 4140 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
