Delmar J. ³Del² Winner, 77
AUSTINTOWN There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the
First United Methodist Church for Delmar J. ³Del² Winner, 77, who passed
away Tuesday evening at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Del was born Sept. 24, 1929 in Warren, a son of James Curtain and Margaret
Price.
He was a truck driver for Calex Corporation for 25 years, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the First United Methodist Church.
He leaves his wife, the former Betty L. Burton, whom he married June 21,
1952; a daughter, Lou Ann Sam Hammond of Austintown; two daughters-in-law,
Gail Winner and Roseanne Winner, both of Austintown; a sister, Edith Mae
Evans of Maryland; a brother, Russell Winner of Warren; 12 grandchildren:
and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Clarence Winner;
two sons, Todd and Earl Winner; and four brothers.
Arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home,
Austintown Chapel.
