Delores Lavore

POLAND - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church for Delores F. "Dee" Lavore, 81, who died Saturday, June 28, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Dee was born Nov. 22, 1932, in Hillsville, Pa., the daughter of Patrick and Rose (Geracie) Catale.
She was a 1951 graduate of Bessemer High School and had worked as an accounts receivable for Semi-Alloys in Mount Vernon, N.Y., retiring in 1997. She moved to Poland in 1998 and became a member of the Holy Family Church.
Her husband, Joseph V. Lavore, whom she married Sept. 23, 1967, died June 14, 2013.
Dee is survived by a nephew, Brian Catale of New Wilmington, Pa.; a sister, Betty Indiciani of Michigan; a grandson, Anthony Mongelli; her very best friend, Dolly Pezzulo of Hillsville; and her friends and neighbors, Sherry Cappelli and Tim Wighrow.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
