BOARDMAN - Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Old North Church in Canfield for Dennis J. Howells, 30, who passed away Wednesday morning at his home.
Dennis was born March 13, 1983, in Youngstown, a son of Dennis J. and Anna (Mineo) Howells Sr.
Dennis was a 2001 graduate of Boardman High School.
He was the website and media tech assistant for Something New Florist. He also worked for Gorants Candies. Dennis was an active member of AA and NA. He enjoyed working out and he excelled in computer technology. He was a huge Ohio State and Browns fan. His greatest love was for his family, and he will be deeply missed.
Dennis leaves his mother, Anna (Jack Nichols) Howells of Boardman; his sister, Danielle (Dan) Procopio of Canfield; his nephew, Ethan Procopio; his maternal grandmother, Esther Mineo of Boardman; his aunts and uncles, Joe Mineo of Boardman, Sal Mineo Jr. of Austintown, Pat (Tom) Ternus of Boca Raton, Fla., David (Annette) Howells of Boardman and JoAnn Precurato of Youngstown; numerous cousins; and his family at Something New.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandfather, Sal Mineo Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Donald and Virginia Howells.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, and Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Old North Church.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
