AUSTINTOWN - A memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Dennis Welsh, 57, who passed away Tuesday evening, May 5, 2015.
Dennis was born Nov. 27, 1957, a son of Raymond and Mary Welsh, on his grandparents' anniversary.
He worked for Scholl Choffin until an industrial accident in 1976.
He leaves his mother of Austintown; sister Patti Herman of Austintown; three brothers, Tim (Jane) of Boardman, and Tom and Ray of Austintown; one niece, Mandy Potkonicky; four nephews, Travis and Dustin Welsh of Austintown, Joe Herman of Austintown, and Fred Hively of Boardman; two great-nieces, Madison Herman and Olivia Hively; five great-nephews, Jackson and Blake Potkonicky, Joey Herman, and Calvin and Asa Hively; five aunts, Tillie DeLaurentis, Dotty (Bob) Trimble, Tina Sell, Peggy Sadosky, and Aggie Parisi; uncle Jack (Joann) McCarthy; great-uncle Paul McCarthy; and many cousins.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Ray; grandparents; and brother-in-law Joe Herman.
Family and friends may pay their respects Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
