AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Diane L. Cook, 64, who died unexpectedly at her home Wednesday morning.
Diane was born Feb. 10, 1945 in Youngstown, the daughter of Steve J. and Hazel Dinger Salmasi.
She was a 1963 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. She was a member of the Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She had been a Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader, and in addition to spending time with her family. She loved the outdoors and working in her garden.
Diane is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Cook, whom she married Nov. 13, 1964; her mother, Hazel Salmasi of Austintown; a daughter, Carrie William Cene of Austintown; a son, Mark Jennifer Cook of Houston; a brother, Dennis Terri Salmasi of Lake Livingston, Texas; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Chad and Bradley Cook and Nicole and Nathan Cene.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Salmasi.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in Diane?s memory.
