POLAND - A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, for Dianne L. Karabin Buckner, 77, who passed away early Monday morning at Hospice House.
Dianne was born Jan. 18, 1938, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Hugh and Alberta (Thompson) Buckner.
Dianne graduated from North High School. She was a teller for Wells Fargo and then for Brink's Inc. She was a former member of the Prince of Peace Church, where she was active with the bible study group. Dianne enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows and movies, going to casinos, and reading a good book, and loved animals, especially her dog, Sam. Her greatest love was for her family, spending as much time as possible with them. Dianne was free-spirited, and she always tried to live by "The Golden Rule." She definitely held high standards for everyone in this world.
Dianne leaves her daughter, Paula (Robert) Rollo of Poland; two sons, Timothy (Michele) Karabin of Hubbard and Scott (Ann Marie) Karabin of Howland; six grandchildren, Chad, Lauren, Jamie, Emily, Tyler, and Mackenzie; three brothers, Charles (Sandi) Burnett of Poland, Jack (Helen) Burnett of Hubbard, and Jerry Burnett of Coitsville; her former husband, Paul Karabin of Hubbard; and former sister-in-law, Joyce Congemi of Boardman.
