AUSTINTOWN - Dolores Ann Andrews, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at Briarfield Manor Nursing Home.
Dolores was born Aug. 24, 1927, in Youngstown.
Dolores grew up on the west side of Youngstown, where she attended Chaney High School and graduated with honors.
Dolores worked for Phillip Levy, an accounting firm, for many years. She also worked at numerous banks and was able to put her love of working with numbers to good use. Dolores loved being around people, and will be remembered for always giving the best hugs. Dolores always greeted everyone with a smile and an introduction to "Puppy."
Dolores is survived by her sister and best friend, Geraldine Andrews, along with many close friends who were like family to her.
Dolores's last years were spent at Briarfield Manor Nursing Homes and Assisted Living, and her sister, Geraldine, is forever grateful for the care that has been provided for both her and her sister.
Professional arrangements were handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
