Poland . . . . . . . A Mass of Christine Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 19th, 2008 at 10:30 Am in St. Luke Church, Boardman for Mr. Dominic D. Caldwell age 45 of Poland who died Tuesday morning at the Cleveland Clinic after a short illness. He was born July 30, 1962 in Upper Darby, Pa. a son of Paul T. and Madeline Sanders Caldwell.
Dominic was a Chief Warrant officer for the United States Coast Guard serving for 23 years retiring February 1, 2003 who was a highly decorated officer . He was stationed all over the world and moved to this area with his family after his retirement. Dominic was currently employed as an assistant manager for Bio test Pharmaceuticals, a member of the church, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Poland Council, St. Luke's Dart League, Kay/Birds Golf League and the Youngstown Dart Association.
He is survived by his wife the former Lisa Nashette whom he married May 20, 1988, a daughter Caitlyn Caldwell at home; a step-son Joshua Caldwell of Enola, Pa; a son Preston Caldwell at home, 2 sisters Gloria Lou Walters of Ranshaw, Pa and Tammy Church of Summerdale, Pa; two brothers Paul T. Terri Caldwell of Duncannon, Pa and Salvatore Caldwell of York, Pa and his step-mom Lorene A. Caldwell of New Germantown, Pa.
Dominic was preceded in death by his father Paul T. Caldwell , his mother Madeline Caldwell Smarowsky and his stepfather Ronald Smarowsky.
