LIBERTY - A prayer service will be held Monday at 9:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Youngstown for Dominic J. Zockle, 82, who passed away Wednesday, May 30, at home.
Dominic was born May 30, 1936, in Campbell, to Joseph and Maggie Trumfio Zockle.
Dominic retired as a supervisor from Cold Metal Products of Campbell in 2002. He was also part owner Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaning, Boardman until 2010.
He leaves his wife, Rosemary Bernard Zockle; a son, Brett (Jodi) Zockle of Draper, Utah; his grandchildren, Tavia and Luca Zockle; and his daughter, Amy Zockle and her fiancé, Steve Baird of Columbus. Other survivors include a brother, Ronald (Mary Kay) Zockle of Canfield and three sisters, Carmela (Nick) Opencar of Campbell, Carol Daigneau of Leesburg, Va. and Donna (Ray) Rish of Cedar City Utah.
Besides his parents; two brothers, Joseph and Michael Zockle; a sister, Angeline Almasy; and a brother-in-law, Edward Daigneau are deceased.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to a charity of the donor's choice.
Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 300 Raccoon Road, Austintown, OH, 44515.
