BOARDMAN - Memorial services will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Don Phillipe Corpier, 64, who passed away Tuesday from an apparent heart attack at St. Elizabeth E.R. in Youngstown.
Don was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Shreveport, La.
Don graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in business management. He served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam.
Don was employed at Delphi Packard in logistics for 33 years, retiring in 2006. He was an avid stamp collector and loved animals and artifacts.
Don leaves his mother, Atha Lee Dunnam of Boardman; his former, wife Debora Robert Macomber of Canfield; his daughter, Kendra Danielle Corpier of Mesa, Ariz.; and his son, Zacharie L. Corpier of Mesa.
Don was also preceded in death by his stepfather, James Dunnam who raised him.
Family and friends may call Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Angels for Animals in Don's memory.
