POLAND - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church for Donald J. Kuty, 74, who passed away Friday evening at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Donald was born May 17, 1938, in Youngstown, a son of the late Joseph and Geraldine Hayes Kuty.
Donald graduated from Hubbard High School. He was a meat manager for many years and worked at Sparkle Markets in New Middletown. He enjoyed bowling and was on many bowling leagues. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.
Donald leaves his wife, the former Mary Kathleen Vincent, whom he married Oct. 10, 1964; four daughters, Jodie Charles Gossard of Petersburg, Dawn Marie Kuty Fiance Edward Wojciechowski of Poland, Renee Johnson of Poland, and Beth Brian Dunkel of Poland; four brothers, Richard Barbara Kuty of Poland, Joseph Kuty of Cleveland, Gary Liz Kuty of Ohio and John Nancy Kuty Hubbard; and five grandchildren, Daniel and Kayla Gossard, Ryan and Lauren Johnson and Sidney Dunkel.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
