POLAND - A private viewing was held for Donald Eugene Walsh, 77, who was born July 10, 1935, and who departed this life on Dec. 14.
The Holy Mass was held at St. Charles Church in Boardman on Dec. 18.
He is survived by his wife, Korenne Blanch Walsh; his children, Georgia Thomas, Don Ruth, John Dawn, Sharon and Annette David; and stepchildren, Mark MaryBeth and Kaulene Michael. Donald had 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Don was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather; and his wife, Clara Jean Jones Walsh in 1978.
Don served in the U.S. Navy. He was a site engineer for over 30 years.
The family requests that any material contributions be sent in Don's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Autism Speaks.
Professional arrangements were handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel.
