Donn Simione

BOARDMAN - Donn Angelo Simione, 60, died Sunday morning at Hospice House.

He was born Aug. 18, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of Angelo and Phyllis Hoagland Simione.

Donn graduated from Boardman High School and Carnegie Melon University. He had retired to Palm Springs, Calif. Donn was an actor, singer, dancer in New York on Broadway and performed in many other places in the United States and Europe. He was also a personal body trainer in Los Angeles.

Donn dedicated his life to helping others and touched many hearts with his singing and dancing.

He leaves his mother, Phyllis Simione of Poland and his sister, Joyce Masko of Boardman, who brought him from California to her home to care for him. Donn also leaves several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Angelo and his brother, Tom Simione.

There are no services.
