Donna Cooper

AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Assembly of God Church for Donna Jean Cooper, 85, who died Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Donna Jean was born Dec. 20, 1927, in Youngstown, to Ailrad and Carrie (Schafer) VanHorn.
She was a 1946 graduate of South High School. Donna worked at Strouss' Department Store as a department manager for over 25 years until retiring. She was a member of the Bethel Assembly Church of God.
Donna Jean enjoyed crocheting, dancing, gardening, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Grbinick of Austintown, Sheryl Dragovich of Youngstown, and Janet Pence of Austintown; a sister, Gleanora J. (Karl) Wasser of West Middlesex; five grandchildren, Larry Grbinick, Kris and Jason Dragovich, Laura (Dan) Stainfield and Ted Pence; eight great-grandchildren, Chase Kontur, Tyler, Brooke and Justin Stainfield, Jackson and Jayden Dragovich, and Mina and Maddie Kline; her dear companion, Norm Gallagher of Austintown; and many nieces and nephews.
Donna Jean was preceded in death by her parents; and her son-in-law, Ronny Dragovich.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
