POLAND - There will be services Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown for Donna Marie Novotny, 75, who passed away Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Donna was born Aug. 4, 1931 in McKean, Pa., a daughter of John F. and Mary Kovalcik Salamon.
She was a 1949 graduate of Ursuline High School. She was employed by James and Son Insurance as a bookkeeper for 18 years, retiring in 1967. She was a member of St. Columba Cathedral.
She leaves her husband, John M. Novotny, whom she married June 22, 1957; a daughter, Laura David Szorady of Poland; a sister, Rita Bakalar of Poland; and a brother, Edward Barbara Salamon of Warren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
