Donna Parlink

YOUNGSTOWN - A memorial service will be held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Donna Jean Parlink, 83, who died Tuesday afternoon at the Liberty Health Care Center.

Donna was born Jan. 30, 1931, in Youngstown, the daughter of John D. and Ann (Gulas) Parlink.

Donna was a 1949 graduate of Youngstown East High School and then served our country in the U.S. Air Force. She later worked at Metal Carbides before retiring. She was a long-time member of St. Columba Cathedral.

She is survived by her sister, Florence Parlink of Youngstown; a nephew; two nieces; two great-nieces; and a great-nephew.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Carr.

Donna's family would like to thank Windsor House and Hospice of the Valley for their compassionate care for Donna.
