Donna White

HOUSTON, PA. - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, for Donna M. White, 77, who died early Monday morning at South Hills Nursing Home in Canonsburg, PA.
Donna was born July 30, 1940, in Youngstown, the daughter of Albert N. and Margaret (Olsen) Faulkner.
She was a graduate of Boardman High School and worked as a janitor at Cardinal Mooney High School for 15 years until retiring. Donna taught CCD at St. Christine Church for many years and was a member of the Family Life Committee and Homebound Committee. She also volunteered at Canonsburg Hospital. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed making ceramics, but most of all, she loved her dogs.
Donna is survived by her husband, James White, whom she married May 21, 1966; her daughter, Barbara Dalesandro of Dunedin, Fla.; sister Jean Rider of Austintown; four grandchildren, Pamela and Andrew Dalesandro, Jada White, and Seth Wetherington; and two great-grandchildren, Desmond and Malachi Wetherington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jeffrey White.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from noon to 1 pm at the funeral home.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to St. Vincent DePaul at St. Christine Church.
