Youngstown - Services will be Friday at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 10:00 AM at St. Christine Church for Dorothy M. Malone age 82 of Youngstown who passed away Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Dorothy was born January 5, 1923, in Youngstown, the daughter of Ernest and Kathryn Layton Kroll. She had worked in the office at the former Plakie Toy Company for 12 years, and later at Cold Metal Products for 3 years, and she was a member of St. Christine Church.
Her husband Anthony D. Malone whom she married February 11, 1956, died April 6, 2000.
She is survived by two sons Anthony Scott and his wife Jean of Savannah, GA, and Gregory Dominic and his wife Jill of Macedonia, OH, a grandson Joshua Malone, numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn June Kachmer, and two brothers, Ernest, and Ralph Kroll.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to St. Christine Church memorial fund.
