Dorothy Mihalich

AUSTINTOWN - A Parastis services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Dorothy Shulick Mihalich age 80 formerly of Austintown who died Thursday in Grove City, Ohio. Dorothy was born September 30, 1929 in Ambridge, PA, the daughter of Andrew and Margaret Buhovetsky Shulick. She moved to Austintown in 1967 from Ambridge, Pa. She worked for the Austintown Board of Education as a Para Professional at Fitch High School for 14 years, after her retirement she became an Independent Sales Representative for Avon. She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church and its Rosary society. She was also a member of the Avon Presidents Club and its Honor Society.
Her husband Stephen Mihalich whom she married June 24, 1950 died February 12, 1989.
She is survived by her loving son David Alan Mihalich of Grove City, Ohio, and daughter Rita M. Barton of Texas.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert Shulick and Andrew Shulick, Jr.
Friends may call from 5 PM to 8 PM Sunday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Either the Southwest Public Library Outreach Dept, 3359 Park St., Grove City, Ohio 43123 or St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Chapel Fund in care of the church.
