Dorothy Polas

Poland. . . Services will be 9:30 Am at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and 10:00 Am in St. Columba Cathedral for Mrs. Dorothy Polas of Poland who died Sunday evening at her residence.
Dorothy was born October 14, 1935, in Youngstown, a daughter of Martin and Laura Sturm Schindler.
She was a 1953 graduate of East High School was employed by G.E. as an assembler for 15 years and was a member of the Cathedral. Her husband Peter Polas whom she married May 26, 1962, died July 9, 2000.
Dorothy is survived by her two sister - in-laws Margaret and Shirley Schindler and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Peter she was preceded in death by her two brothers Joseph and Robert Schindler.
Friends may call Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
