Edward Campbell

AUSTINTOWN- Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg, where a memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM for Edward H. Campbell age 68 of Austintown who died early Tuesday morning at the St. Mary's Alzheimer Care Center in Columbiana, Ohio.
Ed was born June 11, 1936, in Marlington, W.Va., the son of William Dowen and Flossie Maize Waugh Campbell.
He moved to the Youngstown area as a young man. He had worked at American Paper Products as a Senior Supervisor for over 42 years before retiring. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Meander Masonic Lodge # 765, a 32nd Degree member of the Youngstown Scottish Rite, the New Middletown Farmers and Sportsman's Club, a former member of the Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, and was an avid fisherman, and hunter.
He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Humphries whom he married January 1, 1960, a daughter Deborah LaPointe of Harker Heights, Texas, two sons Kenneth A. Debbie Campbell, and R. Michael Martha Campbell both of Youngstown, two sisters Millicent Jerry Withers, Ruth Campbell both of Dale City, Virginia, three brothers, Tom, and Lyle Campbell, of Marlington, W.Va., and Clyde Campbell of Cloverlick, W.Va., three grandsons, Egan Skinner, Kory Campbell, and Kyle Campbell.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Harold, and Roy Campbell.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday at the Van Reenan Funeral Home in Marlington, W.Va. 207 9th Street where a Masonic service will be held at 1:00 PM with burial will take place at the Wilfong Cemetery in Marlington.
