POLAND - A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Edward C. Fennessey, 90, who passed away Friday evening at Shepherd of the Valley.
Edward was born June 27, 1921, in Youngstown, a son of the late John and Martha McDine Fennessey.
Edward was a 1939 graduate of East High School. He served in the Army in the 75th Infantry during World War II. He was a clerk for the Mahoning County Probate Court. He was a member of AMVETS Post No. 44 and the American Legion in Pompano Beach Florida.
Edward leaves his daughter, Lynn Thomas Kidd of Boardman; his son, Thomas E. Bettyann Fennessey of Poland; two granddaughters, Breona Bill Rowbotham and Alison Brian Wess; two grandsons, Jeff and Chris Kidd; and three great-grandchildren, Madison and Gavin Wess and Aiden Rowbotham.
Edward was also preceded in death by his wife; his sister, Elizabeth Nelson; and two brothers, John and James Fennessey.
