Edward Perod

AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Edward F. Perod age 76 of Austintown who passed away Saturday evening at his home after a nine month battle with cancer. Edward was born September 21, 1928, in Youngstown, the son of Nicholas and Gertrude Beach Perod. He had served in the Air Force during the Korean War, and later worked as a supervisor at the former Republic / LTV Steel for over 37 years retiring in 1983.
He was a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
He is survived by his wife the former Annie Pauline Perry whom he married March 3, 1951, two sons, Roger D. Perod Sr. of Ridgeville, Indiana, and James R. and his wife Judy Perod of Dunedin, Florida, a brother Thomas Perod of New Castle, PA, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Deley, and four brothers, Nicholas, Louis, James and Joseph Perod.
