BOARDMAN - Services will be Monday morning at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Eileen A. Bishop, 82, who died Monday evening, April 4, at her home after a lengthy illness.
Eileen was born Aug. 21, 1928, in Blue Rock, the daughter of Harvey and Mattie Emmert Floyd.
She attended Philo High School and later married her husband, Robert W. Bishop, on Aug. 17, 1946. Mr. Bishop preceded his wife in death in 1994.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by her daughter, Donna Bishop of Canfield; a son, Robert W. Stephanie Bishop Jr. of Poland; a twin sister, Maxine Ozzie Nichels of Griffith, Ind.; four grandchildren, Lisa Hochstetler, Thaddeus Gina Menold, Kari Brian Antal and Staci Michael Szugye; and 10 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Joy, Joshua and Hope Hochstetler, Alan and Thomas Menold, Alexis and Tyler Antal, and Melanie and Jason Szugye.
She is also survived by her longtime friend, Carl Watson.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Josephine Mattos, Alberta Hivnor, Alfreda Finley and Edna Eppley.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Bishop's care givers, Bridget, Kathy, Cindy and Jane, along with Emma and Pat.
