AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel for Eileen Polish, 80, who passed away Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Eileen was born May 21, 1929 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the daughter of Charles and Ann Murphy Sweeney.
Eileen devoted her life to taking care of her family and she enjoyed spending time with all of them.
Eileen leaves her husband of 59 years, John Polish, whom she married Feb. 18, 1950; two daughters, Barbara Steve Rubosky and Debbie Richard Hott; two sons, John Jane Polish and James Debbie Polish; her sister, Peggy Bill Georges of Harrington Park, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Sweeney; and a great-grandchild.
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
