Eleanor Marko

AUSTINTOWN-Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Boardman Christian Church for Eleanor Maye Marko age 79 of Youngstown who passed away Wednesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Eleanor was born March 17, 1925 in Youngstown, the daughter of Dwight T. and Dorothy E. Foreman Cleland. She was a 1943 graduate of South High School, and had worked as a cook at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home for 15 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Boardman Christian church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Judy A. Jeff Hatchner of Berlin Center, Pauline Cotter of Youngstown, and Lisa A. John Coates of Lambertville, NJ, a son Robert J. Brenda Marko of Rapid City, SD, three sisters, Theda Kurtiak of Youngstown, Martha Caroll Russell of Phoenix, AZ, and Betty Fanfer of Scottsdale, AZ, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by, her first husband Robert Lehman whom she married in 1945, and her second husband Frank R. Marko whom she married in 1955, also preceding her in death were three brothers John, Francis, and Robert Cleland.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM Sunday evening at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and Monday from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to services at the Boardman Christian Church.
