NORTH LIMA - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Lucy Church 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell, for Eleanor M. Rich, 82, who passed away peacefully, Monday at Assumption Village.
Eleanor was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Mary (Koly) Hanigovsky.
She was a graduate of Boardman High School, where she was a majorette. Mrs. Rich was also a former member of the Holy Family Church, St. Lucy Church and the Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
Her husband, Dr. William B. Rich D.O., whom she married at St. Lucy Church on May 14, 1955, died May 16, 1998.
She is survived by a daughter, Elaine (August) D'Onofrio of Poland; three sons, John W. Rich of New Middletown, William B. Rich, Jr. and Dr. David (Joanne) Rich M.D. of Boardman; and eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Graham) Lockshaw Smith, David A. Lockshaw Jr., William Dugan and Jeannine, David, Michael, Alex and Vince Rich.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, and Friday from 9:30 until funeral services at 10 a.m. at the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish/St. Lucy Church in Campbell.
Burial will be at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
