BOARDMAN - Prayers will begin Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church for Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Gavura, 75, who died Thursday evening at Marymount Hospital.

Elizabeth was born Aug. 11, 1939, in Youngstown.

She was a graduate of Ursuline High School and had worked at Medallion Financial as an administrative assistant for more than 30 years before retiring. Her passion was her granddaughter, Isabella, and she enjoyed years of card club with her longtime girlfriends.

She is survived by her husband, John J. Gavura, whom she married Feb. 24, 1962; two daughters, Jody (Bob Jesko) of Canfield and Julianna "Julie" (Steve) Bellino of Canfield; and granddaughter Isabella Bellino.

She was preceded in death by her mother and best friend, Helen Stanovcak; a sister, Carol Jean Palmer; and a brother, Charles "Butch" Bulatko.

Betty Ann's family would like to thank Marymount Hospital second floor ICU, the Cleveland Clinic, building J ICU, as well as the immediate care providers and physicians. They would also like to acknowledge the pharmacists and staff at the Boardman Giant Eagle Pharmacy for their care and kindness towards their mother.

Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
