WARREN - Elizabeth J. Jammes, 80, passed away on November 3, 2024.
She was born on April 15, 1944, in Niagara Falls, NY, a daughter of Leonard and Zayda (Fry) Cassick.
She took pleasure in crocheting baby blankets, which she generously donated to the maternity ward at Providence Hospital.
Elizabeth's love for her family was evident in the beautiful blankets she lovingly crafted for her grand-babies and great-grand-babies. She cherished her time spent playing board games, with "Sorry" being a favorite among friends and family.
For over 30 years, Elizabeth worked as a housekeeper at Providence Hospital, where she formed lasting relationships with her colleagues.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons Douglas Steven (Gabriele) Jammes, of Wasilla, AK and Dennis Edward (Nancy) Jammes, of Tacoma, WA; daughter Marchelle Renee (Kenneth) Cote, of North Jackson, OH; sisters Harriette Cassick and Annette Kreamer; 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Douglas and son Dale, her brothers, Jacob, Leonard, and John Cassick.
A celebration of life will be done at a later date.
Arrangements are by Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Jackson Milton Chapel, 439 S. Salem-Warren Road (Rt. 45).
