STOW - Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park for Ellen Mae Wilson, 78, who passed away Tuesday at Elmcroft Assisted Living.
Ellen was born July 18, 1933, in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul and Marie Meyers Faber.
Ellen was a 1950 graduate of South High School and Northside Hospital Nursing Program. She was a pediatric nurse at Southside Hospital, then retired as a psychiatric nurse from Woodside Receiving Hospital. She was a former life long member of the Western Reserve Baptist Church in Boardman, and was currently a member of the Kent United Methodist located in Kent. She was very active at her church and was a member of their choir.
Her husband, David Hunter Wilson, whom she married Sept. 14, 1956, passed away Jan. 18, 1969.
Ellen leaves three daughters, Debra Wilson of San Diego, Cyndi Scott Jacoby of Portsmouth, N.H., and Terri Simon Hornung of Hudson; three sons, Robert Wilson of Phoenix, David Karen Wilson of Columbus, and Paul Kathy Wilson of Wadsworth; a sister, Anna Marie Faber of Sagamore Hills; and seven grandchildren, Brittany and Kyle Jacoby, Kaelee and Skyla Wilson, McKenzie Hornung, Luke Wilson and Ella Grace Wilson.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
