YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Elta R. Pete, 78, who passed away Sunday morning at Valley Renaissance.
Elta was born Oct. 26, 1934, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Roy and Viola (Day) Paden.
Elta attended Ursuline High School and was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Church.
Elta leaves her husband, George Pete, whom she married Nov. 14, 1953; her two daughters, Barbara (Mark) Dolak of Austintown and Denise (Charles) Norman of Youngstown; and a her granddaughter, Alexis Norman.
Elta was also preceded in death by six sisters, Delores Paden, Viola Hall, Elizabeth Ashford, Mary Carusone, Agnes McGuire, and Bertha "Dolly" Bowers, and four brothers, Frank, Roy, James and Charles Paden.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
