AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held, Thursday, at 11 a.m., at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Elvira A. Bellino, 96, who died Saturday evening at Meridian Arms Nursing Home.
Elvira was born Oct. 13, 1919, in Cleveland, the daughter of Ralph and Adeline (Cercone) Lucente.
She worked for General Fireproofing for many years and Austintown Schools as a cafeteria worker. Elvira was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Her husband, James S. Bellino, whom she married June 28, 1941, died Feb. 27, 1985.
Elvira is survived by two sons, Jim (Marilyn) Bellino of Atwood Lake and Gary Bellino of Austintown; four grandchildren, David (Amalia) Bellino, Jeff Bellino, Lissa (Chris) Canale and Scott (Shannon) Bellino; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters Evelyn Peacock, Flora Cimbannon, Olga D'Amico, Yolanda Caldwell, Gloria Duganne and Beatrice Ceo; brothers Primo, Albert and Bob Lucente.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Boardman, OH 44512.
