BOARDMAN - Services for Emma S. Zizzo, 91, who passed away Monday morning, will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins Reardon Funeral Home in Canfield.
The daughter of the late Martin and Mary Zink Breckner, she was born Nov. 7, 1920, in Youngstown.
Emma married her husband, Jack Zizzo, on Feb. 14, 1944, in Youngstown.
In addition to being totally devoted to her family, Emma was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed gardening and reading books. She truly enjoyed being a homemaker.
Emma is survived by her daughters, Patricia Miller of Portland, Ore. and Jacquelyn Michael Kadilak of Boardman; her son, John Zizzo of Youngstown; and six grandchildren, Kimberly Jeff LaHaie and David Miller of Portland, Michael Kadilak of Boardman, Jonathan Zizzo of Columbus, Stefanie Zizzo of New York City, N.Y. and Jack Zizzo of Youngstown.
In addition to her husband, Jack, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Martin Breckner, Michael Breckner, and Andrew Breckner and two sisters, Mary Lightner and Katherine Dragoiu.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins Reardon Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel.
