AUSTINTOWN - Private services will be held on Tuesday for Erika Michalski who passed away on Saturday.
One of four children, she was born on Oct. 28, 1919, in Germany and came to this country in 1951, with her husband and son.
She was very proud to have been a member of the founding cardiology team run by Dr. Calvin at North Side Hospital and retired after 24 years of service. Her greatest joys were her son, grandson and great-grandson.
Erika leaves her son, Manfred (Judy) Michalski, with whom she made her home; grandson Erik of Dayton; great-grandson Griffin; and members of the Hacon family, who considered her as one of their own.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and her brothers and sisters.
