AUSTINTOWN-Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church for Eva "Sally" Boyer age 94 of Camelot Arms Care Center formerly of Youngstown who died Thursday evening at Camelot Arms. Sally was born December 7, 1909, in Butler, Pa., the daughter of August and Cora Duncan LaBolle. She came to this area in 1926. She had worked as a cashier at Harris's Market in Austintown for over 30 years until its closing. She was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church, and had been a member of the Youngstown Municipal Railway Women's Auxiliary.
Her husband Joseph "Bruce" Boyer whom she married April 18, 1929, died September 7, 1984. She is survived by a son William B. Pat Boyer of Austintown, a sister, Cora Wagner of Evans City, Pa., three granddaughters, Sharon Boyer of Senoia, Ga., Sue Kal Boyer Adorjan of Austintown, and Kelli Richard DeSantis of N. Kingsville, Oh., six great-grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Donna Jean Boyer, two sisters, Pauline LaBolle, and Edna Hall, and two brothers, Retired Army Colonel Richard LaBolle, and August LaBolle.
Friends may call from 4 PM to 7 PM Sunday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and for 1/2 hour prior to services Monday morning at Grace Lutheran Church.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to either Angels for Animals or Southern Care Hospice of Austintown.
