Eva Orechoneg

YOUNGSTOWN - Private services were held for Eva B. Orechoneg, 86, who died late Tuesday evening at Omni West Assisted Living.
Eva was born Nov. 14, 1930, in Edmonson County, Ky., the daughter of Carlos and Mildred (Dowes) Blaton.
She was a 1950 graduate of The Rayen School and worked for General Motors for 32 years until retiring. Eva enjoyed roller skating, dancing, and playing bocce at the Acro Club. She also enjoyed taking trips to Florida.
She is survived by her companion, Phillip Panno, whom she spent 38 years together; and nephew Cody Blaton and niece Judy Davenport, both of Rome, Ga.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Blaton.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at Omni West Assisted Living for the care and compassion given to Eva.
Professional arrangements were handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
