NORTH LIMA - Private family services were held Friday for Evelyn M. Price, 84, who passed away early Wednesday morning at Assumption Village.
Evelyn was born Jan. 7, 1929, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Julian and Margaret Phelan Billock.
Evelyn was a 1947 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a former member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Her greatest love was for her family and spending time with them.
Her husband, Robert A. Price, whom she married June 25, 1949, passed away May 6, 2002.
Evelyn leaves her daughter, Tricia Ron Diefenderfer of Austintown; two sons, Bob Kathy Price of Austintown and Bill Price of Parma; two sisters, Elieen Straitwell and Mildred Coffey of Tampa, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Evelyn was also preceded in death by two sisters, Laura O'Neill and Louise Tokaz.
Material tributes may take the form of donations to Mission of Love.
Professional arrangements were handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
