Florence Carcelli

STRUTHERS - There will be services Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers for Florence Aline Davis Carcelli, 85, who passed away Saturday evening at Maplecrest Nursing Home.
Mrs. Carcelli was born December 8, 1921 in Coolsprings, Pa., a daughter of Thomas E. and Pearl A. Shaffer Davis.
Mrs. Carcelli was a June 1939 graduate of Struthers High School, where she was a class secretary. She worked for Dollar Bank as a teller, and at Plakie Toys and Truscon Rebublic Steel.
She was a former member of Struthers Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, American Legion, Struthers Garden Club, and The Republican Club, and she was also a member for many years in the ABWA. She enjoyed Struthers sports, needle work and ceramics. She especially
enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed deeply.
Her husband Joseph Carcelli, whom she married December 19, 1942, died April 13, 1961.
She was a beloved and devoted mother of Luigina Larry Barnhart of Canfield and D. Edward Sharan Carcelli of Struthers; She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Danielle Carcelli of Campbell; a sister, Pauline D. Davis Cleland of Lake Milton; a sister-in-law, Frances Carcelli of Boardman; seven
grandchildren, Lindsay Barnhart, LeAnna Barnhart, Thomas Allison Carcelli, Tod Irene Carcelli, Kristin Jeff Warren, Joseph Heather Carcelli, and
Lisa Carcelli; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Carcelli is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son Joseph Larry Carcelli, who died in 1973.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Poland Chapel and Wednesday from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran
Church.
