Florence Price

AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Florence G. Price, 85, who passed away Sunday at Humility House.
Florence was born Jan. 17, 1931, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Kurowski) Geister.
Florence enjoyed playing Bingo, collecting angels, jigsaw puzzles and word searches. She also loved to taking pictures, cooking and Christmas. Her greatest love was for her family, especially watching her husband sing.
Her husband, Arthur E. Price, whom she married July 27, 1957, passed away Oct. 18, 2005.
Florence leaves her four sons, Ron (Karen) Price of Austintown, John (Deanna) Price of Canfield, Bill Price of Austintown and Bob Price of Austintown; six grandchildren, Anthony (Pearl), lil Deanna (Tony), Kyle, Alex (Mikayla), Billy and Savannah; three great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Sebastian, and Isabelle; and a sister, Laverne (Gus) Marmarinos of St. Louis.
Florence was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Eugene Geister.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
