POLAND-Services will be Monday at 9:15 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, and
at 10:00 AM at St. Columba Cathedral for Frank John Bell age 76 of Bishop Rd. Poland, formerly of Broadway Ave. Youngstown who passed away Thursday morning after a three year illness with emphysema
at the home of his daughter in Poland. John was born November 5, 1927, in New Brighton, Pa., the son of John E. and Carrie Lipscomb Bell. He had attended the Rayen School, served in the Army during W.W.II, and had worked as an iron Worker for several area contractors through the Structural Iron Workers Union Local # 207. He was a member of the union, St. Columba, and the AARP. His wife the former Judith Ann Fennessey whom he married in 1961 died in 1980.
He is survived by seven daughters, Cheryll Nelson of Soroco, New Mexico, Sandra Skinner of Boring,
Oregon, Gloria Green, Darlene Johnson of Washington State, Cynthia Fetty of Youngstown, Colleen MikePuhalla of Poland, Shannon Joseph York of Boardman, six sons, John T. Bell of Portland, OR., LorenzoLaura Bell of Stafford, Virginia, Vincent Betty Koby of Youngstown, Christopher May of Arlington, Virginia, Frank Rusnak of Dublin, Virginia, and John N. Bell of Arlington, Virginia, a sister Rhita Canavan of Girard, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
