Frank Sterling

POLAND-A private family graveside service will be held later at Belmont Park Cemetery for Frank C. Sterling age 92 of Poland who died Thursday morning at his home. Frank was born May 13, 1915 in Youngstown, the son of Richard and Josephine Case Sterling. He had worked at the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Corporation for over 40 years, retiring as the manager of the Bar, Rod and Wire product line in 1978. He served in the Army during W.W.II, and was a graduate of the Rayen School, and later earned his Bachelors degree from the Ohio State University.
His wife the former Doris Loveland whom he married December 11, 1941, died March 15, 1998.
He is survived by two daughters, Doris G. Andress of Redmond, Oregon, and Joan C. Sterling of Poland, a son Frank L. Sterling of Canton, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by three brothers, and a sister.
Arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
