AUSTINTOWN - There will be services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Fredrick ³Rick² Earl Greene, 64, who passed away Thursday at his home.
Rick was born Sept. 30, 1941, the son of Fredrick E. and Rosemarie Love Greene Sr.
He was a graduate of The Rayen School. He served in the Air Force Reserves. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk since 1978. He was a member of the Youngstown Ski Club and a lifetime member of the Youngstown State University Alumni. He enjoyed biking, skiing, bird watching, reading, music and playing his guitar.
Rick was also proudly awaiting the arrival of his first grandson in August.
Rick is survived by a daughter, Anastacia Marie Greene of Charlotte, N.C.; two sons, Nathan Greene of Tucson, Ariz., and Sean Greene of Boardman; two brothers, Harry N. Greene of Bangkok, Thailand, and Howard D. Greene of
Youngstown; and his former wife, Mary J. Greene.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas A. Greene.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
