BERLIN CENTER - Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for G. Oliver Crump, 92, who died Friday afternoon at his home.
Oliver was born April 27, 1919, in Frostberg, Md., the son of Gilbert Otto and Nellie Day Crump.
He was a graduate of Youngstown South High School. He later became the founder and operator of Wickliffe Concrete for over 50 years, until his retirement. He was an antique car enthusiast and enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by four daughters, Kathleen James Gallagher of New Waterford, Melanie John Timlin of Boardman, CherylAnn Bob Kuti and Susie Craig Warden of Boardman; two sons, James Grace Crump of Canfield and John Judy Crump of Berlin Center; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
His wife, the former Joane Kailholz, died Sept. 9, 1982. He was also preceded in death by a son, Captain Edward Crump USAF; a brother, James Crump; and an infant brother, William Paul Crump.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday morning from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
